The exercise program would improve the patient’s energy expenditure and allow him to achieve the desired health benefits. Aerobic exercises should involve a moderate activity of 150 minutes per week, which may include dancing and walking, or intense exercises lasting for 75 minutes, which may include swimming, and jogging, or a combine both exercises (Rivera-Torres et al., 2019). However, the duration of the exercise should be increased gradually from 10 minutes to 60 minutes per session (Rivera-Torres et al., 2019).
