Exegetical Paper

I will need a rough draft of this paper – only 4 pages… main thing is my thesis. Professor will give me feedback and permission to move forward with this. This is to be turned in to me Monday, December 3rd. Once I receive the green-light we can move forward and the paper will be due by December 9th. I will provide handouts that give very clear directions. Please refer to them. Paper is to be on Ephesians 6:10-16This is an Exegetical Study of Scripture Reference Paper. Must be written from an Evangelical Christian perspective. Please refer to the handouts for specific directions. There are to be no variations. Paper must contain the following: a minimum of three to 4 commentariesone Bible background commentary one periodical (journal) article and two other scholarly resources (textbooks or theology books). The version of the Bible to be used can be NASB or NIV. Please only use those versions. Paper will have the following categories as well as title page and Bibliography. 1. Introduction and Survey (1 page) 2. Contextual Analysis (2 to 3 pages) 3. Formal Analysis ( 2 to 3 pages) 4. Detailed Analysis and Synthesis ( 5 to 6 pages) – to include word study – 1 paragraph 5. Reflection (1 page) 6. Bibliography Note: must use the phrase “semantic range” in the one paragraph pertaining to word study. Again, please refer to the handouts. I have sent them.
