What kind of graphs or figures are acceptable for the term paper?The question has come up several times so I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the response. The important thing about the graphs for the term papers is that they directly bear on the discussion in your text. I would rather have students working toward that end than spending a lot of time with graphics software. So an acceptable graph (that meets the relevance criterion and is marked in such a way that it can be directly cited from the text) can be anything legible, including a photograph of a hand-drawn graph submitted as a separate file. (JPG or PDF or similar standard formatting is desirable).
