Intro and ExampleAccording to Kelley, there are eight possible attributions one can make concerning an observed behavior, depending upon situational evidence concerning Consensus, Distinctiveness, and Consistency. For each situation, we can write down the evidence that supports each attribution, and proceed to characterize the attribution in terms of either Actor, Situation, or some combination of the two. Further, we can characterize each attribution as either stable or unstable, and offer a possible explanation.
